The ADDIE Model is an instructional design methodology based on 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
This model was created in 1975 at Florida State University as part of the development of training programs for the United States Army but has since become a guiding principle in the creation of e-learning materials. Why? Mainly due to its simplicity and effectiveness.
In the early days, instructors were required to complete each stage of the ADDIE model before moving on to the next. But over the years, the model has become more interactive and dynamic.

In the analysis phase of the ADDIE Model, the goal is to gather information about the project at hand, such as data about the audience, learning objectives, available resources, and other relevant considerations.

The implementation stage refers to the launch of the project, which involves delivering the final materials to the learners. This can be done through e-learning software, in-person sessions, or a combination of both.
In this phase, the success of the training program is analyzed, and information about its effectiveness is collected. Evaluation methods are used to measure results in context of learning objectives and gather feedback from participants.
