On March 18, we participated in the Retail Forum Madrid 2026, an event organized by iKN that has become one of the leading retail industry gatherings in Spain. Held at IFEMA, it brought together more than 1,500 professionals and over 120 speakers to analyze current business challenges in a landscape shaped by the transformation of the point of sale, digitalization, and the evolution of customer experience.

The expert talks and real-world case studies focused on the key areas shaping the future of retail: how to improve execution at the point of sale, optimize operations, and better connect training strategy with business needs. That’s why we were joined by our client Clarel, a leading health and beauty retailer, for the “Leaders in Retail” session, to discuss how they are aligning culture and daily operations across more than 1,000 stores thanks to isEazy Engage technology.

The Clarel case: aligning culture and daily operations across 1,000+ stores

Carlos Ramos, Senior Manager of Talent and Culture at Clarel, joined our CEO, Miguel Valverde in a session that addressed a structural challenge in the industry: the difficulty of consistently translating strategy and culture from headquarters to the point of sale.

The challenge is not just to communicate, but to ensure that the strategy reaches and is implemented at the point of sale. In large, distributed networks, this requires simplifying processes and making information more accessible. Digitalization only adds value when it eliminates friction and enables real-world application in day-to-day operations.

In this success case, Clarel showed how the isEazy Engage app technology has been key to aligning 3,000 employees across more than 1,000 stores in real time, within a context of high turnover and geographic dispersion, and during a critical phase of business model transformation for the company.

According to Carlos Ramos, the key differentiator of this app is its usability, being highly intuitive for employees, who can use it directly on their mobile devices to communicate seamlessly with both the global team and headquarters, manage and oversee daily operations, and access bite-sized learning on the job.

He also highlighted the importance of gamification in isEazy Engage as a business driver: reinforcing knowledge through challenges and rankings, activating commercial campaigns, and enabling the identification of high-performing talent.

Results of the training project with Clarel

The data shared during the “Leaders in Retail” session reflected the direct business impact and improvements in key industry KPIs:

  • Stronger alignment between headquarters and stores, with notable improvements in customer and employee satisfaction (NPS).
  • Increased efficiency in launching commercial campaigns.
  • Product knowledge improved from 60% to 90% and training engagement increased to 84%.
  • Significant reduction in onboarding times.
  • Identification of hidden talent, creating a network of internal influencers and keeping experts continuously up to date.

With isEazy Engage, we’ve managed to bring everything together in a single app. And that changes everything, because now when we launch a campaign, store staff receive operational instructions on their phones about how to set up the window display, training on featured products, and corporate communications regarding our goals—all integrated and in real time.
