On March 26, we attended the official presentation of the National HR and Training Survey in Mexico 2026 by isEazy and Sesame: “Evolving the Role of Human Resources.” The breakfast event, held in Mexico City, brought together more than fifty HR experts, where key data and conclusions from the study were shared, based on insights from 227 HR leaders.

During the session, we analyzed—together with HR Top Voice Ivonne Vargas—the current state of organizations in Mexico to understand which practices are advancing, which gaps remain, and which decisions will shape the HR agenda in the coming months. It was a space for data and reflection, focused on the major challenges currently faced by HR teams in Mexico and how to address them.

isEazy’s participation as a partner and sponsor of the study allowed us to share a clear and actionable view of the state of Human Resources in Mexico, while also opening the conversation around how technology and training can become key drivers for organizational evolution and business impact.

What do the data say? Lack of strategy, simplifying regulatory changes, and a focus on well-being

Based on the data collected, we identified a clear reality: Human Resources departments in Mexico are making progress, but still face significant challenges in consolidating their evolution. On one hand, 42% of the organizations surveyed still lack a solid skills development strategy, which limits their ability to adapt to an increasingly changing environment.

In addition, culture and leadership remain underdeveloped levers, especially when it comes to internal communication and team engagement. Meanwhile, workplace well-being continues to gain relevance, but 59% of professionals believe there is significant room for improvement, particularly in areas such as mental health and adapting to different generations.

Overall, the study—available for download—reflects a moment of transition, where the foundations are in place, but the real challenge lies in turning specific initiatives into solid, measurable strategies aligned with business goals.

Organizations have access to more and more information, but the challenge lies in turning that information into decisions that make a real difference. Studies like this one help us understand where we stand and, above all, where we need to go to build teams that are better prepared, more connected, and more resilient.
