On March 5, we hosted in Madrid the AI & Learning Forum: What no one has told you about AI, an event we organized together with Microsoft, where we brought together professionals from Human Resources, Training, and Technology to analyze how artificial intelligence is truly impacting organizations.

In addition to presenting the pioneering study on “The use of AI in HR and training” that we developed with Microsoft, we featured real cases, a roundtable discussion, and expert talks to understand the current state of AI adoption.

The study data helped quantify the current landscape: only 23% of organizations have achieved real integration of AI into their processes, while most remain in exploratory stages, and around 85% use generic AI tools for training purposes.

Experts from Repsol, Mahou San Miguel, Telefónica, and Microsoft share their insights on AI adoption

Many of the barriers preventing organizations from implementing AI in their processes are related to the lack of a corporate strategy. That’s why Guillermo Lorbada, Head of New Ways of Working at Repsol, highlighted in his talk the importance of adopting AI in a scalable way and the need to integrate it thoughtfully, with a team of experts leading the initiative.

We wanted to amplify the impact of generative AI on our businesses by creating the AI Competence Center, thereby leading the process of discovering new ways of working. But in addition to establishing these specialized spaces, truly implementing AI requires us to be highly curious, adaptable, critical, and empathetic.
Guillermo Lorbada, Head of New Ways of Working at Repsol.

During the roundtable discussion with Eva Astorga, Manager of the Methodologies and Digital Talent Hub at Mahou San Miguel, and Mónica Rentero, Head of Learning and Development at Telefónica, they analyzed specific cases of how their companies are applying AI in their day-to-day operations and the strategies that have worked best for them.

The most valuable lesson has been working collaboratively between the transformation and human resources departments to ensure a business-focused approach. What matters most is that teams across production facilities, the logistics chain, distribution, sales, and central services have access to the best AI technology to meet their needs.

It is very important to first identify the areas of personal productivity where AI can be scaled across the organization, and then train leaders and teams to drive that transformation. This involves critically analyzing current processes in order to reinvent them. There are two stages: in the short term, determining what can be done to streamline processes with the help of AI, and then understanding how AI will transform our work in the future.
Monica Rentero, Head of Learning and Development at Telefónica

For his part, Carlos Yánez, Sales Manager AI Business Solutions at Microsoft, addressed the key factors for effective AI adoption in business environments, based on experience, understanding, and efficiency.

When adopting AI, there are three key considerations. The first is to use solutions developed by companies with a proven track record in the business sector. The second is to establish responsible usage policies. And the third is to have a clear technology governance framework that defines what is acceptable to develop using AI and what processes must be implemented to ensure its proper use within the organization.

We introduced AI Autopilot by isEazy Author

During the event, we also introduced AI Autopilot, our AI-powered solution for creating training content. With this approach, we enable teams to generate courses in a faster, more structured, and needs-aligned way, integrating artificial intelligence directly into the instructional design process.

The numbers show that AI is already an operational tool. The next step is to make it part of the management model. Integrating it into data, processes, and decisions requires technology, but above all, it requires people who are trained and capable of managing it.
Miguel Valverde CEO at isEazy

Thank you to all the professionals who joined us in Madrid, as well as to the speakers for sharing their experience and insights. The AI & Learning Forum made one thing clear: artificial intelligence is already part of everyday work, but the real challenge now is integrating it structurally by aligning technology, processes, and teams.
