On September 10 and 11, we were present at the 59th International Congress of Human Resources, which was held at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City. During those two days, more than 3000 professionals from the Learning & Development sector gathered to talk about the present and future of talent management in Latin America, and we could not miss it. Our booth was the meeting point to show how artificial intelligence is changing digital training.Ā
The theme of this edition was “Talent & Organization in the AI era”, and the conferences made it clear that the L&D sector is not going to be the same in the coming years. We enjoyed speakers such as Sergio Ezama, CHRO of Netflix, or Magdalena Mook, CEO of the International Coaching Federation, to talk about the trends that are shaping the future of work, such as:Ā

AI and Learning: A Revolution or a Trend?Ā
If one thing was clear at the congress, it is that artificial intelligence is here to stay. But the big question is:Ā How can it be effectively applied to HR? At the opening of the event,Ā Mauricio Reynoso, general director of AMEDIRH, made it clear: “You cannot be left behind in the development of competencies, skills, andĀ knowledge relevant to today’s world […] Artificial intelligence has to be subordinate to human beings and not the other way around.”Ā Ā
